Klimt was a Secessionist painter representing Vienna at the end of the 19th century. His decorative style incorporates gold leaf and geometric patterns, and his unique worldview is romantic and at times eerie. The period when gold leaf was used extensively, as in ``The Kiss,'' is called the ``Golden Age,'' and it is said that there was a strong influence from the Japanese boom (Japonism), Ukiyo-e, and the Rinpa school. ``Water Snake I'' uses Art Nouveau's curvaceous design to create a unique expression that incorporates a new international aesthetic sense.

Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919)
He is a representative painter of the French impressionist movement, and is known for his warm and happy style, which depicts people and everyday life in soft light and colors.
