This is a cord that has been treated with wax.
The material is 100% polyester. Suitable for macrame accessories. The waxed finish makes it slippery and easy to tie knots. In addition, there is little fuzz on the surface and the knitting is beautiful. There is some stickiness from the wax on the surface, but it will absorb and reduce as you use it. The wax may be applied unevenly depending on the location of the cord. It can be processed with a lighter or a trowel. Please be careful when using lighters etc.
